CAPRI Institute is proud to be a Flagship Sponsor School of the American Cancer Society’s, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Annual Walkathon. 100% of money raised is donated. For the past 2 years, CAPRI Institute’s students, staff and their families have all been dusting off their sneakers in the early fall to take large steps in the race against breast cancer. Last year CAPRI raised $18,000 for this important cause and we are excited to meet our 2005 goal of $20,000! This event offers the CAPRI family an opportunity to come together and give back to our communities, which we have appreciated since our very first year of participation in 2003.

Today, there is more hope than ever for people touched by breast cancer. However, there is still much work to be done to promote early detection and help those impacted by the disease. And you can make a difference. Making Strides is a noncompetitive walk supporting the American Cancer Society's unique mission to fight cancer on four fronts: research, education, advocacy, and patient
